Sir Alex Ferguson is the longest serving manager in the premier league history. The Scott joined Manchester United on 6th November 1986. His tenure has seen the Red Devils go through an era of success and supremacy both in Premier League and in Europe, giving Ferguson a reputation as one of the most admired and respected managers in the history of the game. United won its first League title under Ferguson in 1992-93 season. After 1993 season United never looked down, they were very dominant not only in England but also in Europe. The Old Trafford club won its first European Championship in 1998-99 seasons.
Sir Alex has won 12 Premier League titles , 5 FA Cup, 4 League Cup, 2 UEFA Champions League, 1 UEFA Cup Winners Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup, 1 Intercontinental Cup and 1 FIFA Club World Cup in his 25 year tenure. He has produced many world class players for United including the likes of Eric Contena, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Scot’s individual honours’ includes 10 Premier League Manager of the season, 26 Premier League Manager of the Month, 3 Onze d'Or Coach of the Year and IFFHS World's Best Coach of the 21st Century awards and many more.
